Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscript through the official ARCC submission system and follow the relevant journal guidelines, including required authorship, funding, conflict-of-interest, ethical and supporting information.

Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial office and handling editor assess the manuscript for journal scope, submission requirements, originality, relevance, scholarly quality, ethical compliance and potential integrity concerns before external review.

Reviewer Selection & Invitation
Research manuscripts that pass screening are normally assigned to at least two independent external reviewers with relevant subject or methodological expertise. Reviewers must confirm their expertise, availability and absence of conflicts of interest.

Independent Peer Review
Under ARCC’s double-blind review model, reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, research question, methods, data, analysis, results, conclusions, references, ethical compliance and overall clarity.

Revision & Re-Review
When revision is invited, authors submit a revised manuscript with a point-by-point response to reviewer and editor comments. The manuscript may be returned to the original reviewers, assessed by the editor or sent to additional reviewers.
